July 9, 2016
The Red Cultural Festival was established with the dual purpose of celebrating the Great Festival of Grassroots Culture of Barcelona and presenting the recently-launched Barcelona Network of Sites for Cultural Promotion. This network is a federation formed by several cultural associations in the city, who have joined together to cooperate and coordinate with each other and work to promote accessible, participatory culture.
On July 9, to promote this cause and to present a day of events representing the type of culture that the network defends at different venues managed by the members, a full programme of activities will take place: concerts, poetry recitals, singer-songwriter sessions, theatre and dance workshops, DJ sessions and an arts and crafts market.
