November 3 - 5, 2016
From November 3 to 5, Fabra i Coats will host the third edition of BEFF (Barcelona Ethical Fashion Fest), the biggest sustainable fashion show in southern Europe. The festival will include more than forty-five pop-up stores selling sustainable clothing and accessories and a programme of catwalks, round tables and lectures, as well as a concert and several workshops. Finally, the show will feature a participative zone, "Speakers’ Corner", where entrepreneurs will discuss their experiences in the business. The issues discussed over the three days will include water treatment for fashion and the use of natural dyes, the future of the textile industry and the management of sustainable firms.
BEFF is organised by the Associació de Moda Sostenible (Association for Sustainable Fashion), founded in Barcelona in 2013. The association currently has more than one hundred members, from fashion designers and raw materials suppliers to garment-making workshops, stores, journalists and ordinary citizens.
Barcelona Ethical Fashion Fest: from Thursday to Saturday, November 3 to 5, from 11 am to 9 pm. Tickets on sale at ticket offices. Combined admission for Thursday and Friday, €2; Saturday, €3.
